Juicing In Advance Saves Meal Prep Time

The Citrus Juicer also helps preparing meals in advance. I juice a bunch of fruit at one time and pour into ice cube trays to freeze for later use.

When filled just short of the brim, each well in my ice cube tray holds two tablespoons of juice. Whenever a recipe calls for lemon, lime, or orange juice, it’s easy to just grab the equivalent amount of cubes out of the freezer. (Measure how much the wells in your trays hold to determine now many cubes to use in your recipes.)

The juicer allows for one less step in creating healthy meals, and these steps do add up.

Yesterday I juiced a bag of six lemons which yielded one and a half ice cube trays of lemon juice cubes. I was delighted since we love lemon in our ice tea.

Pulp Control plus Drip Spout and Internal Cord Storage

The juicer’s Sieve Assembly has three pulp control settings, so I can control the amount of pulp in each batch. And when juicing oranges, each person can get the right amount of pulp.

A drip spout helps keeps the counter tidy, and rubbery “feet” help keep the motor base in place. Internal cord storage helps keep storage tidy.

Seltzer with Citrus Juice Cubes and Frozen Strawberries

Add a couple of citrus juice ice cubes and frozen strawberries to a glass of seltzer for a refreshing drink. It’s also a way to help us older adults stay hydrated.
